Position Summary: This position works with R&D Services to support and maintain the R&D Data Center

Job Description: Description: We have a client that is searching for a Network Administrator with a CCNA.

Position Summary: This position works with R&D Services to support and maintain the R&D Data Center. The ideal candidate will provide insightful advice and friendly, hands-on support for the R&D community. The candidate will quickly diagnose network issues, explaining situations with patience and empathy. After troubleshooting and determining what is needed, this person will offer solutions to quickly get up and running again. Even if they are juggling more than one issue they will stay conscious of their time demands. Responsibilities:

Assist in ongoing support/maintenance of R&D network core switch, including incremental installation and configuration activities
Assist Network Engineer in establishing network specifications: confer with users, analyze workflow, establish access, information, and security requirements
Assist Network Engineer in managing R&D Services network: evaluate network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, good put, and latency, plan and execute selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment, define network policies and procedures, establish connections and firewalls
Maintain network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning, troubleshooting network problems, and escalating problems to vendor
Maintain and update job knowledge: participate in educational opportunities, read professional publications, maintain personal networks, and part

Requirements:

Experience in conducting manual and automated security assessments of web applications
Broad knowledge of all facets of information security operations, including: vulnerability assessment, risk management, host and network intrusion detection, anti-virus technologies, firewalls, SIEM host forensics, and malware analysis
Solid understanding of network, workstation, and server security configuration
Expertise in best commercial practices for information security and a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Cyber Security
Must have 5 - 7 years' in the information security field
Candidates should have experience working in a large enterprise environment
Candidates should have a basic understanding with forensics, malware analysis, and an overall understanding of Networking Other

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent technical documentation skills
Excellent presentation skills
