Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Controller, develop, prepare, analyze and publish all internal and external financial reports and SEC filings, in accordance with all required GAAP.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports including, balance sheets, income statements, cash-flow statements and related supporting information;

Prepare the company's quarterly Board of Directors packages;

Manage the company's debt covenant reporting compliance process;

Assist with the company's SOX / internal control compliance process;

Work with the Controller to identify all reporting requirements;

Assist in the completion of the annual audit by providing information and explanations to internal and external auditors;

Prepare 10-Qs, 10-Ks and other documents for filing with the SEC;

Maintain processes and systems that ensure the accurace of the fundamental data used for financial reporting and work toward technical improvement;

Review and analysis of financial statements;

Work with the Controller to research technical accounting issues, as requested;

Participate in special projects and ad hoc requests, as directed.

Experience / Capabilities:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, required;

CPA License, required;

4 - 8 years of accounting experience, required;

Oil and gas company experience, preferred;

Ability to work closely with management, required;

Commitment to all reporting and audit deadlines, required;

SEC reporting experience; preferred;

Strong Microsoft Excel expertise, required;

OCSYS software skills, a plus.
